About Sarah | Dog Training and Behavior Assessments
Successfully using scientific & positive training & behavior change methods for dogs & their guardians.
Sarah has over 10 years of experience working with dogs and their behavioral needs in a variety of environments, including shelters and veterinary clinics. Sarah’s coaching background allows her effectively assist dog owners in helping their dogs overcome behavior challenges.
As a certified Dog Behaviorist, continuing education is very important to Sarah – she attends classes, seminars and workshops at every opportunity from topics ranging to behavioral genetics, puppy socialization, aggression and working dogs. Sarah has also presented at international conferences, given radio and television interviews, and is considered an expert in canine behavior in the Canadian legal system.
Sarah’s training and behavior career was inspired by her first adopted dog, Carmac. He passed away in 2014, and Sarah currently lives with Shorty, an adopted terrier x, and Mulder vom Logan Haus, her Belgian Malinois she is training in detection, tracking and protection sports.
